Olympia Country & Golf Club Wedding

Olympia Country & Golf Club
Olympia Country & Golf Club is a beautiful location for any wedding. This venue overlooks the South Sound and you can have your wedding outdoors or indoors in their faculty. The Club patio has a beautiful landscape with PNW shrubs and flowers. It is the perfect place to have your wedding ceremony overlooking the water. I was so happy when Morgan and Taelar chose this location to start their new beginning together.
First, I need to tell you a little about Morgan and Taelar, they booked with me before COVID. We all know what happened with COVID couples they rescheduled their wedding for the following summer. I felt so bad for this couple waiting for another year, but I understood why. They were an awesome couple and I had so much fun working with them for another year.
Color Palette and Blooms

Once the couple chose their venue, they were ready to decide on the types of flowers and colors.
The Olympia Country Club is a very versatile venue and you can create your very own vision. Morgan and Taelar wanted a casual look while maintaining the wedding air.
This couple picked blue and white flowers, I think this was an awesome choice because they were getting married by the water.
White flowers are always a great choice for weddings. White flowers are romantic and will bring sophistication to the theme. Especially when we use blooms like hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, and peonies. This combination is a great look and has just enough texture to bring interest to the flowers.
We also brought in some blue to break up all the white. This is a technique I like to use, so the eye can stop and truly look at the flowers. I designed with blue belladonna because it is such a deep blue and thought it would look great against the water. However, I also wanted some texture with the bouquet, so I enhanced it with some eryngium. Blue eryngium is great for texture and people always stop and ask about it.
Bridal Bouquet
After choosing the colors, it's time to design their bridal bouquets. They both wanted two different style designs. But it was important to them that the bouquets spoke to each other.
Taelar wanted a cascade design style with all-white flowers. Also, peonies are an important flower to her, and wanted in her bouquet. I can't tell you how pretty these peonies were and they smelled like heaven. This look was very romantic and I loved she chose a traditional cascade design look.
So with Taelar's romantic look, Morgan wanted white flowers but she wanted to introduce some blue flowers. We accomplished this look by designing in a garden-style with blue belladonna and blue eryngium. I also like the blue hues because it brings the ocean and water into their wedding theme

I have delivered to the Olympia Country Club many times, and each time the faulty has always been ready and prepared for me to install flowers. As a florist, I have always appreciated their service and adaptability.
I wanted to congratulate Morgan and Taelar and I wish them the best in their future endeavors. I so appreciate that I got to work with them for another year due to COVID. I love that they wanted two different bouquets but still connected to each other.
Thank you again, Tara
